 The Riu Cancun Hotel is an all-inclusive 3 ˝ star resort located in the hotel zone of Cancun, Mexico. The resort includes 4 pools, including a free-form 2 level quiet pool, another free-form pool, a pool with a jetted section and swim up bar, as well as a pool in which lounge chairs are placed in the shallow end. The resort backs onto a gorgeous open beach of which, 200m is sheltered from open sea swells.The hotel contains 569 guest rooms which feature either balconies or ground floor terraces. The resort includes 4 restaurants (listed below) as well as a disco, children’s center, water sports entertainment, 24 hour food/drink, minibars as well as liqueur dispensers located in each room. As well there is a fitness center and spa (is not included in the all-inclusive packages) as well on location. The resort is located 17km from the airport and is within walking distance of the club zone in Cancun where all of the greatest clubs are located from Dady O’s, The City, and Coco Bongo. The restaurants located in the Riu Cancun Hotel are: - Don Juan – This is a casual, dining room, which features an open-air terrace. It features a breakfast buffet and serves lunch. As well they serve a theme buffet for dinner twice a week.
- Kawachi – This is a feature a la carte restaurant serving Japanese cuisine. Reservations are required and the dress code includes long pants for men as well as no sleeveless shirts.
- Restaurante Corazone – This restaurant is a Brazillian rodizio-style, which serves skewered meats, and poultry sliced at the table. Reservations are required and the dress code includes long pants for men as well as no sleeveless shirts.
- La Mision – Is a beautiful open air, sea view restaurant, which serves a continental breakfast, buffet lunch, as well as a Mediterranean buffet dinner.
There are also 6 bars located around the resort, including a sports bar, lobby bar, theater bar, disco bar and swim up bar. The resort is located 17km from the airport and is within walking distance of the club zone in Cancun where all of the greatest clubs are located from Dady O’s, The City, and Coco Bongo.
