It is a four star resort that is located 10 minutes from the airport and 15 minutes from Cancun Island. The resort includes 123 acres of tropical greenery, 200 feet of white beach, 2103 air conditioned rooms, 10 restaurants, 7 bars and 2 pools. In that you can stay at one resort but go and play at all sister resorts, such as the Sun Palace, Beach Palace, and Cancun Palace.

As well the Moon Palace Golf Spa Resort is very beautiful and is home to the only Jack Nicklaus signature golf course which includes three nine hole golf courses for the men and an extensive spa treatment for the women.

Everyone knows that food is an important part of an all-inclusive vacation and the Moon Palace offers up nine different restaurants. The restaurants as well as a short description of each restaurant are listed below:

  • Arrecifes – This is an open air restaurant located around the indoor pool. The restaurant serves a breakfast and lunch buffet and an a la carte dinner. The dinner menu includes many Brazilian-style meats.
  • MoMoNo Hana – This restaurant is open only for dinner and serves Asian cuisine. The dress code for dinner is long pants and collared shirts for men.
  • Palapa Pelicanos – This restaurant of open for lunch and dinner and includes a beautiful view of the sea. It features mainly a buffet and sushi bar.
  • Palapa Delfines – This restaurant is located poolside and serves a lunch buffet with grilled items for dinner.
  • Palapa Fragata – This is an open air café that serves a lunch buffet for lunch and a seafood buffet for dinner.
  • El Café Manglar – This restaurant features both a lunch and breakfast buffet as well as an a la carte Italian dinner.
  • Los Caporales – This restaurant features Mexican cuisine and is only open for dinner. It features classic Mexican a la carte entrees and has a dress code of long pants with a collared shirt for men.
  • La Gondola – This restaurant features a breakfast buffet in the morning and offers Italian cuisine served buffet style in the evening. At dinner there is also live piano music.
  • Bugambilias – This restaurant serves a breakfast buffet as well as Mexican a la carte cuisine for dinner. The dress code is in effect for men with long pants and a collar shirt.
  • Palapa Barracuda- This open aired restaurant located between the pool and the beach. There is a light a la carte breakfast, a lunch buffet and an a la carte dinner, which features a variety of cuisines.

In addition to the many restaurants in the Moon Palace resorts Cancun, there are also an abundance of bars. There is a lobby bar, Jungle Lounge where live music is played, Columpios Bar that is located by the pool and the Andromeda Nightclub and Disco Bar which includes a dance floor, DJ which is open until 3 am.
