 The Coco Bongo is one of the most popular and well-known nightclubs in all of Cancun. It packs a capacity of over 1800 people and resides in the heart of the hotel zone. Multi level seating, nightly rock n roll and salsa bands make it a most exciting and unique night club. It takes sounds from the 70’s, 80’s, Dance, Trance, Hiphop and Rave and mixs it with a show that is unforgettable. There are flying acrobats, bar top conga lines, movie clips projected onto big screens, live bands, dj’s. With streamers, ballons, confetti, and the highest quality and latest technology in sound and lighting, this is a place that must be seen to be believed.Once you pay your cover charge (about $50 USD for open bar), you are taken up a series of escalators. When you actually enter the club, you are at the top of the stadium style nightclub. The club consists of a main stage high up to the front with a central bar which serves the dual purpose of drink service plus offers a convenient podium for dancing on.  The club has three levels of seating, with bleacher style seats on the lower levels and more private tables on the upper levels. The doors open at 10:30 and the show begins around 11:00. The show lasts till about 2am, and consists of everything from Cirque De Soleil style shows featuring spider-man, to look-alike impersonators such as Micheal Jackson, Madonna and Britney spears. After the shoe, the dance floor opens and the night continues with 80’s, 90’s and hiphop, pop music.
The Coco Bongo is a sight that truly has to be seen to be believed. It is a place that all visitors should visist at least once.
